Welcome to the Quantum Information group at the Technical University of Denmark. The group is a part of the section on Quantum Physics and Information Technology at the Department of Physics.

Research

We are interested in the fundamental quantum optical processes that enable information to be conveyed over arbitrary large distances with unconditional security (known as quantum communication) and allow for an exponential speed up of some computational problems (known as quantum computing).  test

Events

April 27-30, 2012 the 9th workshop on Continuous Variable Quantum Information Processing (CVQIP) will be held at the Hotel Frederiksdal, near Copenhagen. For more information read here.

August 25-31, 2012 the Quantum and Non-Linear Optics Summer School at Sandbjerg Estate in Denmark. Topics are Quantum, nonlinear and integrated optics, Nano-mechanical quantum oscillators, Light-matter interface, Quantum metrology, and Quantum information. For more information read here
